LVL 3 PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Those who care for babies or children, such as parents, guardians, and grandparents, should take the Emergency Paediatric First Aid course. Specifically designed to meet the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements, this course equips individuals with the skills necessary to handle emergency situations such as choking or minor injuries. This course is not just aimed at industry professionals but also people who want to feel more comfortable at handling a medical situatuion with a child or baby if one was to occur.

If you work in an Early Years setting such as a nursery or school, we would recommend that you attend a 2-day Paediatric First Aid course as it is OFSTED recognised.

CERTIFICATION AND ASSESSMENT

An array of teaching methods will be used to prepare Paediatric First Aiders. The course includes videos, examples, and real-life scenarios. A multiple choice exam will be given at the end of this course.

Successful delegates will receive a certificate certifying them as a responsible Paediatric First Aider within the workplace. The First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) measures and accredits certificates for three years.
